electricbillcalculator.in was built because every Indian deserves to understand exactly what they're paying for electricity - and why. Most existing calculators use approximate figures or don't account for state-specific FPPCA surcharges, subsidy deductions, and meter rent.

We source our data directly from State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) tariff orders - the same documents that DISCOMs use when printing your bill. Each state's tariff is verified against the official order and updated within 30 days of any SERC revision.

We cover all 28 states and 8 union territories, with domestic, commercial, and industrial tariff structures for each. The calculator implements telescopic and non-telescopic slab logic correctly - a distinction most competitors get wrong.
